At the MET Gala, held in New York on 2 May 2022, the Longines Ambassador of Elegance, Regé-Jean Page, wore a Longines Dolce Vita on his wrist.

British actor Regé-Jean Page may be best known for his role as Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings, in the Netflix series Bridgerton, but he has a rich resume as a film and theatre actor and is not pinned down to any genre. He will star in the Russo brothers' film The Gray Man as well as Paramount's blockbuster Dungeons and Dragons. Next, Page will star in The Saint for Paramount Pictures as well as executive produce. In 2021, he was honoured with a spot on the TIME 100 Next list, the magazine of the same name's annual list of individuals shaping the future of their field and defining the next generation of leaders.

Page has an innate sense of style and a whole new expression of elegance, which is why Swiss watch brand Longines named him an Ambassador of Elegance.

At the Met Gala, Regé-Jean Page wore a blue velvet Armani Tuxedo, a silk navy shirt and loafers embroidered with Swarovski crystals. Matching Longines Dolce Vita with blue bracelet and a men's diamond brooch by Graziella from Italy.

The likeable actor confessed to Vogue that he was going to the Met Gala for the first time and was very excited and also very honoured to have been personally invited by Anna Wintour. Page liked the Longines watch because it gave him old school styling with a retro feel.

The Longines Dolce Vita model is a very elegant watch due to its simplicity in the rectangular case shape. The Dolce Vita watch collection has been on the market since 1997 and is meant to pay homage to the easy but stylish life of the Dolce Vita era in Italy.
