Düsseldorf, 5 December 2023: In the morning, the founder of Frankonia Eurobau AG Uwe Schmitz handed over a cheque for 100,000 euros to Heribert Klein for the Unicef art auction: "Children's rights A place for every child". In the evening, the celebrations continued on his premises. The Andreas Quartier lit up for the traditional Christmas Charity Club Concert 3.0 to support the "Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern e.V." foundation. According to the organisers, over 170,000 euros were donated by the 120 invited guests. Düsseldorf celebrities also attended the event, including Dieter Nuhr, Jana Azizi with her husband Ironman Johann Ackermann, Düsseldorf's EUFA Euro Ambassador Martina Voss-Tecklenburg, TV-Presenter Wolfram Kons, Ebru Oeksuez, Frankonia Founder Uwe Schmitz and his wife Manuela Schmitz and many more.

Venue for social commitment

The "Stiftung RTL Stiftung" event always takes place on the first Tuesday in December at Mbassy by Franks and Frank's Club in the Andreas Quartier, a historic location in Düsseldorf. The Andreas Quartier is located within the architecture of the former Düsseldorf district and regional court. Between 1911 and 2016, it witnessed important court proceedings and significant events and legal decisions in the region. Reason enough to turn it into a venue for social commitment and the fight against child poverty in North Rhine-Westphalia. The "Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern e.V." foundation has carried the DZI donation seal of approval since 2002 and has been honoured for its support of thousands of children's aid projects in recent years.

In the evening, singer and entertainer Marc Marshall provided the musical entertainment, followed by an after-show dinner at Mbassy by Franks, which was accompanied by hosts Manuela and Uwe Schmitz and TV presenter Wolfram Kons. The invited guests included many celebrities from the worlds of film and art as well as representatives from business and politics.
