200 Trunks 200 Visionaries, Louis Vuitton. The travelling exhibition was a great success, as the creatives succeeded in immersing themselves in the visions of the founder Louis Vuitton in the most diverse artistic ways. An artists' residency will also be created in Barneys, New York.

Düsseldorf, 2 November 2022: The travelling exhibition of 200 imaginative suitcases by Louis Vuitton moved from Los Angeles to Manhattan, where it closed its doors at Barneys New York this week. Reason enough to show the artworks and their staging once again.

Conceived to celebrate Louis Vuitton's bicentenary, the exhibition has travelled from Asnières at the Louis Vuitton Family House on 4 August 2021 to Singapore, Los Angeles and finally New York. New York is a special location, as it will also host residency workshops in the near future.

The artistic design of the Louis Vuitton Chest is a tribute to Louis' legacy and brought together talent from the fields of art, culture, science, sport and global concern; hence the name Visionaries. Among the well-known names: Supreme, Gloria Steinem, BTS, Pat McGrath, Nigo® and Fornasetti. The entire LV200 project was a philanthropic endeavour, as the Visionaries donated their entire fees to a charity that aims to help young creatives on their educational journey. Details of this, the Maison Louis Vuitton is yet to announce.
