Die Familienunternehmer auf Schloss Bensberg: Gala, Innovationen und Tatendrang. Die Familienunternehmer aus den Regionalkreisen Niederrhein Düsseldorf sowie Region Köln Bonn trafen sich auf Schloss Bensberg zur Preisverleihung herausragender unternehmerischer Leistungen. Kategorien waren: „Erfolgreiche Transformation“, “Strategisches Wachstum” und auch der Nachhaltigkeitspreis wurde verliehen.

Düsseldorf, 13. November 2022: Nach zwei Jahren Pause trafen sich rund 200 Mitglieder des Wirtschaftsverbandes Die Familienunternehmer aus den Regionalkreisen Niederrhein Düsseldorf sowie Region Köln Bonn auf Schloss Bensberg zur Preisverleihung im festlichen Rahmen mit Diner und Programm. In unsicheren Zeiten zeigen die Unternehmer Optimismus und Tatendrang und zeichnen Kategorien aus wie „Erfolgreiche Transformation“, “Strategisches Wachstum” und auch der Nachhaltigkeitspreis wurde verliehen.

Die Regionalvorstände Marco van der Meer und Frank Oelschläger begrüssten die Gäste humorvoll, aber auch mit nachdenklichen Tönen, und würdigten deren Verdienste und Arbeit. Durch den Abend führte die Düsseldorfer Sängerin Sarah Bouwers mit Moderation und Gesang. Mit dem Song „Nella Fantasia“ des Oscarpreisträgers Ennio Morricone begann sie den Abend und verzauberte sogleich die Gäste. Weitere Programmpunkte waren die Saxophonistin Gina Brese und ein Mentalmagier des GOP Varieté-Theaters Bonn.

Preis der Familienunternehmer

Drei Familienunternehmer verliehen die Auszeichnung „Preis der Familienunternehmer“ für herausragende Leistungen in drei Kategorien. Die Preisträger waren von einer siebenköpfigen Jury unter der Leitung von Professor Dr. Justus Haucap, Direktor des Instituts für Wettbewerbsökonomie, Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, ermittelt worden. Den Preis für „Erfolgreiche Transformation“ erhielt die Trützschler Group SE, ein im Jahr 1888 gegründeter Textilmaschinenhersteller aus Mönchengladbach. In Empfang genommen wurde der Preis von den beiden Aufsichtsräten Heinrich Trützschler und Dr. Michael Schürenkrämer. Laudatorin Antje Schlotter, Leiterin der Düsseldorfer Niederlassung des Sponsors PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH, lobte die Zukunftsfähigkeit des vor mehr als 130 Jahren gegründeten, international aufgestellten Unternehmens.

Der Nachhaltigkeitspreis ging an das 1893 gegründete Unternehmen Grafschafter Krautfabrik Josef Schmitz KG. In seiner Laudatio verwies Olaf Ziegs, Vorstand von Die Familienunternehmer, Metropolregion Köln Bonn, auf den nachhaltigen Umgang des Unternehmens mit Ressourcen, Partnern und Lieferanten.

Den Preis für “Strategisches Wachstum” erhielt die ORAYLIS GmbH. Laudator Oliver Plaack, Vorstand der Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG , lobte die Düsseldorfer Datenexperten als Vorbild für Wachstum. Thomas Strehlow, Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter von ORAYLIS, der den Preis in Empfang nahm, verriet, was ihm wichtig ist „Ich habe super Leute!“

Schloss Bensberg in Bergisch Gladbach, NRW, from the Althoff Hotel Collection, is known worldwide as a luxury hotel. The magnificent baroque architecture has made it distinctive and an attraction for guests from all over the world - the Cologne airport is only 15 minutes away.

The castle has a 3-star restaurant run by Germany's chef Joachim Wissler. It also has an art collection built up over decades with works by Markus Lüpertz, Antoni Tàpies, Joseph Beuys, Georg Baselitz, A.R. Penck, Wilhelm Beestermöller, Wolfgang Stahr and Salvadore Dalí.

Until this happened, the castle experienced a very eventful history, which will be outlined here. Schloss Bensberg was planned by the Kurfürst (Elector) Johann Wilhelm for his wife Princess Anna Maria Louisa de' Medici, but unfortunately the couple did not live to see its completion.

The family entrepreneurs at Schloss Bensberg: gala, innovations and zest for action. The family entrepreneurs from the regional districts of Niederrhein Düsseldorf as well as Region Köln Bonn met at Schloss Bensberg for the award ceremony of outstanding entrepreneurial achievements. Categories were: "Successful Transformation", "Strategic Growth" and the Sustainability Award was also presented.

Düsseldorf, 13 November 2022: After a two-year break, around 200 members of the business association Die Familienunternehmer from the regional districts of Lower Rhine Düsseldorf and Cologne Bonn met at Schloss Bensberg for the award ceremony in a festive setting with dinner and a programme. In uncertain times, the entrepreneurs show optimism and a zest for action and award categories such as "Successful Transformation", "Strategic Growth" and also the "Nachhaltigkeitspreis" (Sustainability Award) was presented.

The regional board members Marco van der Meer and Frank Oelschläger welcomed the guests with humour, but also with thoughtful tones, and paid tribute to their merits and work. The Düsseldorf singer Sarah Bouwers led through the evening with moderation and singing. She began the evening with the song "Nella Fantasia" by Oscar winner Ennio Morricone and immediately enchanted the guests. Further programme items were the saxophonist Gina Brese and a mental magician from the GOP Varieté Theatre Bonn.

Preis der Familienunternehmer

Three family entrepreneurs presented the "Preis der Familienunternehmer" (Prize of Family Entrepreneurs) award for outstanding achievements in three categories. The winners were selected by a jury of seven under the direction of Professor Dr. Justus Haucap, Director of the Institut für Wettbewerbsökonomie, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. The prize for "Successful Transformation" was awarded to the Trützschler Group SE, a textile machinery manufacturer from Mönchengladbach founded in 1888. The prize was accepted by the two supervisory board members Heinrich Trützschler and Dr. Michael Schürenkrämer. Laudator Antje Schlotter, head of the Düsseldorf branch of sponsor PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH, praised the sustainability of the internationally positioned company founded more than 130 years ago.

The Sustainability Award went to Grafschafter Krautfabrik Josef Schmitz KG, a company founded in 1893. In his laudatory speech, Olaf Ziegs, Chairman of Die Familienunternehmer, Cologne Bonn Metropolitan Region, referred to the company's sustainable approach to resources, partners and suppliers.

The prize for "Strategic Growth" went to ORAYLIS GmbH. Laudator Oliver Plaack, CEO of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG , praised the Düsseldorf data experts as a role model for growth. Thomas Strehlow, Managing Partner of ORAYLIS, who received the award, revealed what is important to him "I have super people!"
